Timeline

Students who want to attend UCDC should apply to the program the semester prior to the one they want to be in DC. Applications for Fall participation are due in late February and applications for Spring participation are due in late September. It is highly recommended that students plan for their UCDC semester early in their academic careers by meeting with a College or major advisor to discuss how UCDC fits into their academic plan. Fill out the UCDC Interest Form to receive timely information about UCDC, such as deadlines, internships, and fellowships.

Spring 2026 UCDC Program

Application Deadline	Thursday, September 18, 2025 (applications received after this date will be reviewed on a space available basis)
Interviews	Week of September 29
Notification of Acceptance	By October 8
Student Commitment Deadline	By October 17
In Person Student Cohort Meeting	Monday, November 3, 2025, 5-7pm in 370 Dwinelle Hall
UCDC Prep Online Orientation Series	Wednesdays, 11am PT (start date for SP26 TBA)
Spring 2026 UCDC semester dates	January 5-April 17, 2026 (move in at the Washington Center January 3-4, move-out is April 18 unless students extend their housing contract).
